  • Improves concentration – Concentrating on the subject you’re painting or concentrating on improving the details in what you’ve already painted builds essential skills in focus. In fact, a study conducted in 2008 revealed that medical students were able to observe and recall more information after participating in eight sessions that taught fine art concepts and observation techniques.

  1. My wife and I are going on vacation in a couple of weeks. We have been discussing potential activities that we would like to do. We didn’t realize that painting actually helps you improve your concentration skills. That is something we could both work on, and the fact that it also helps you relax makes it a perfect activity for a vacation.
