Hollywood’s most notable men have earned their stripes with amazing feats both on and behind the big-screen as true living legends. These distinguished Hollywood stars have tackled the art of acting, producing, screenwriting, narrating and much more- with the credentials to prove it. HFR is here to acknowledge these eminent legends and the hard work they put, both on and off camera. The difference between us and IMBD is- we’re doing it on a slightly different scale- a fitness scale.

We have been making these lists of the Top 10 Fittest for several years now and continue our legacy with this new list. The HFR institute first compiled a list of the most legendary 100 actors and did research on all of them. We narrowed down the list to 50, 25, and finally to the reigning 10. We not only used interviews and social media accounts to find information, but we also consulted on the list with founder Samir Becic, who has over 20 years experience as an industry-renowned health and fitness authority.

“We all know these living legends as men who truly changed the world. Now we can see them from a perspective of healthy lifestyle and fitness- likely a large reason of why they are still so active and energetic. We could all learn from the healthy lifestyles they lead. A special thank you to William Shatner, who is very supportive of what we do and who has twitter bantered with me (and usually wins with his wit) on more than one occasion.”- The HarperCollins author of the fitness book ReSYNC Your Life Samir Becic
