After his victory in 2018 for reelection, the not-so-new Prime Minister decided to come out of retirement to fix the crises experienced by Malaysia. Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad turned 94 years old this month but has not let his age affect his ability to lead the nation of Malaysia to a stronger and more stable economy.
Prime Minister Mohamad is a doctor by profession, so it is no wonder that he takes a special interest in his health. He believes that keeping the brain active is important to slow aging and mental decay and that staying active is important to maintain good health. His second tip to staying healthy is to avoid overeating.
Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad said “There is a tendency for people over a certain age to become obese. They have a big stomach and to satisfy themselves, they drink and they overeat, which places a burden on their heart” in an interview. He added “I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t overeat. I eat just enough food to keep me going.
Which is why we are thrilled that Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad decided to begin reading Samir Becic’s Amazon best-selling book ReSync Your Life recently! The Prime Ministers’ ideas about health and wellness align with Samir’s, so we at HFR are excited to see what changes Mr. Mohamad makes to his daily life after finishing ReSync Your Life.
