Walmart Supports Samir’s Fitness Campaign 2022

One of the biggest companies in the world, Walmart, wrote a letter in response to Samir’s 2022 fitness campaign aimed at motivating the Fortune 500 in America to promote more fitness in light of the staggering CDC statistic that 42% of American adults are now obese.

In their response to Samir Becic, Walmart communicates that the health and well-being of all Americans, including customers and associates, is a top priority of his and that they share Samir’s commitment to the cause. The e-mail noted that Walmart CEO Doug McMillon appreciated the correspondence. It read “At Walmart, our mission to help people save money and live better includes the health and wellness of both our associates and our customers. Our commitment to the overall well-being of the communities we serve means that we strive to provide a variety of nutritional options at affordable prices, to help meet the needs of each individual.”

A timely Google alert yesterday for Samir’s name also yielded a new product available on Walmart.com, a mug that reads “Of Course I’m Right! I’m A Samir!”. The perfect gift for a Samir in your life 🙂
