Tandoori Chicken with Cucumber Salad

A flavorful traditional Indian dish, Tandoori chicken is not only healthy but also filling. Follow Chef Jovi’s signature recipe for dinner tonight!
Tandoori Chicken Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp Garma masala
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
Tandoori Chicken Preparation:
  • prick holes in the chicken breasts with a fork for the marinade
  • Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large bowl
  • Mix well
  • Add chicken and marinate for 2 or 3 hours, or overnight, refrigerated
  • Preheat oven 450 degrees and cook for 25 to 30 minutes
Cucumbers Salad Ingredients:
  • 2 cucumbers, peeled, halved lengthwise, seeded, cut into 1/4 –inch slices
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried mint
  • salt for taste or 1 tsp dried dill or 1 tsp of mint
Cucumber Salad Preparation:
  • In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients
  • cover and refrigerate up to 5 hours
