When you think of firefighters, you might think of a group of muscular and incredibly fit individuals. But the reality is that four out of five firefighters nationwide are overweight or obese. In fact, the cause of death for about 50 percent of firefighters who die in the line of duty is due to heart attacks. This firefighter workout separates the weak from the strong.

But a fire department in New Brunswick, N.J., is hoping to change that by showing firefighters an easy workout they can do at the firehouse to stay fit, be heart-healthy and be in better shape.

Termed 555 Fitness, this workout isn’t just for firefighters. In other words, you don’t necessarily need the equipment they use in this video. Think of other objects you can use in place of what they have, and you, too, can do the same workouts from home, without even having to go to a gym!
